Our Approach

Fourways was acquired by Helical in 2017 and we were appointed to carryout a full refurbishment of the building to attract and retain big hitter tenants.

Our approach was simple, elevate the building to the level it needed to be at by installing new link bridges within the central atrium to allow access across each floor level. Add in new lifts, a high level of bespoke joinery, and metalwork to transform what was a tired and dated space into something truly special.

We also remodelled the existing reception area to include a business lounge within the central atrium. Additionally, we carried out refurbishment works to each of the existing floor plates providing new mechanical and electrical services, including new WCs to each floor and an open plan Cat A layout. Works were also carried out to the exterior of the building, including a new roof and heritage repairs to the external facades, all of the works were carried out in accordance with listed building consents attached to the building.
Fourways is now a grand old building once again; its features now elevate it to being one of the iconic office space buildings in Manchester‘s Northern Quarter. Following our works, the client has now successfully sold the building. Fourways and TMT were also a finalist in the BCO recycled workplace awards 2022.
